- Meiji Kenkaku Romantan -
Hello. ^_^x As thou would all have known by now, this
unworthy one here goes by the name of Himura Kenshin. The worthy dwelling
place is the Kamiya Dojo, owned by the generous and kind hearted Kamiya
Kaoru-dono.
Living also in the Dojo, the one and only honourable
disciple of the Kasshin Ryuu, Myoujin Yahiko. Mine other worthy friends are
Sagara Sanosuke, a trustworthy friend although looks may profess otherwise,
and Takani Megumi-dono, practicer of a highly respected profession, one that
saves lives, a doctor.

This unworthy one has indeed made more enemies than friends,
and to lie would not be honorable, therefore this one must come straight to
the point. 10 years ago, in the chaos of Bakumatsu terror in Kyoto, they
called him a legend because of his mysterious and terrifying kenjutsu of the
Hiten Mitsurugi Ryuu...
Hitokiri Battousai.
This unworthy one do not think of him as great, or
terrifying, for a Hitokiri is a human too, and no humans could be void
totally of feel and feelings. That besides, this one is no doubt truly the
only one who understands the fellow of Battousai, which is also why this one
must keep the secret assasin in me buried deep in.
Whether mine true self be a heartless Hitokiri or a relaxed
Rurouni, this one here might never find out... mine life has been fraught
with dangers and war torn misery so much so that mineself has almost grown
cold and void of all.
Perhaps it was because of fatique that forced this lowly one
to rest the feet in Kamiya Dojo, perhaps it is of some other unknown reason,
but whatever it is, Kaoru-dono shall be under mine protection, and just as
this one here have promised, which shall be kept, the protection of
Kaoru-dono must not be procrastinated.
